Gene Peluso spent eight seasons as Head Coach of the RIT men's lacrosse program. He led the Tigers to three ECAC Div. III Upstate Championships in and an E8 championship 2006. In addition, Peluso's Tigers were ranked as high as #2 in the Country in 2007.
He has produced fifteen USILA All-Americans, 46 All - Empire 8 honorees, nine North-South All- Star Game participants, two Empire 8 Rookies of the Year, the 2004 and 2006 Empire 8 Player of the Year, three Verizon Academic All-Americans and five USILA Academic All Americans. Peluso currently serves on the NCAA All-American Committee for Division III Lacrosse.
Coach Peluso was named to the US Lacrosse Greater Rochester Hall of Fame in November of 2009.
He is currently the Head Lacrosse Coach at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. Peluso is also the Co-Founder of Resolute Force Lacrosse, a Rochester based club team
